CONNECTION GROUPS
The Bible shows us that life together is the best way to live. We’d love for you to join us in this journey of belonging. It’s not always easy, but it’s so worth it.

Here at High Pointe Church, we really believe that the Christian life is meant to be lived to the fullest, and that God designed us to live that kind of life together in biblical community. Connection Groups can be a great place to find these kinds of tight-knit, encouraging, challenging, and fun friendships.

Sunday mornings are great here at High Pointe, but a growing church can be a little overwhelming. And church is about so much more than what happens during a worship service – it’s about growing to be more like Jesus from Monday to Saturday too. So, no matter what age or stage of life you find yourself in right now, we’d love to get you connected to the community here at High Pointe.
HOW DO I JOIN A CONNECTION GROUP?
How do you get started? If you are interested in what HPC Connection Groups are all about and want to be a part of one we have something called “Starting Pointe”. This group will meet weekly at the Resource Center from September until the end of November for Bible study, encouragement and accountability. Sign up at the bottom of this page if you are interested.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN A CONNECTION GROUP?
Growing spiritually doesn’t just happen when we know what Jesus says. It happens when we apply what he says. This happens best in the context of community. To grow spiritually, you have to be connected relationally. Connection Groups provide environments in which you will experience life change together with others on the journey of becoming more like Jesus.

WHAT DO CONNECTION GROUPS DO?
Share Life

Acts 2:42-47 – And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Pursue Change

2 Corinthians 3:18 – And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Grow Together

Acts 16:5 – So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily.
